All the Magic of Greece, Just Miles from Home – The 2011 Las Vegas Greek Festival will be on Friday to Sunday, September 23 to 25. This event brings all the aromas, sounds, tastes, and traditions of Greece to your doorstep. Your admission ticket becomes your passport as you enjoy all the Beauty of Santorini and the fun of Mykonos This year, it will be held at the St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 5300 South El Camino Las Vegas, Nevada 89118. Nevada Wild Fest, Southern Nevada’s Music Festival and Fair – From free concerts, haunted houses, zip-lining, kids’ zone and more, this year’s festival to benefit the Lili Claire Foundation for special needs children and their families here and abroad, is bigger and better.  Check out the various activities from October 12 to 16 at the Henderson Pavilion, 200 South Green Valley Parkway, Henderson, Nevada 89012. There is $9 admission, children under 3 are free. You can buy tickets in advance at The Southpoint Hotel Casino and Spa.

Farmers Markets:

Country Fresh Farmers Market – Buy seasonal fruits and vegetables, bakery fresh breads and pastries, salsa, kettle corn and other food items. The market also features other artisan foods, arts and crafts. Fridays, 10 AM to 4 PM, at the Henderson Pavilion. Free admission.
