4th of July 2018 Activities In Las Vegas and Henderson

The 4th of July falls on a Wednesday this year which means the partying will start on Friday, June 29th. many of the casinos will have 4th of July fireworks. The Las Vegas strip will be crowded with tourists so we would suggest watching fireworks at the casinos in the outlying areas. Here is a list of times and locations for fireworks.

Caesars Palace –

As part of Caesars Palace July 4th Celebration, on Saturday June 30, 2018 Caesars Palace Las Vegas, will stage an awe inspiring Independence Day fireworks extravaganza. The colossal 13½ minute fireworks display will be shot from the hotel’s Julius Tower beginning around 9:20 p.m. The best views will be from the Las Vegas Strip at the front fountains of Caesars Palace.

Stratosphere –

This year, Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower’s iconic, 1,149-foot-tower will light up Las Vegas Blvd this 4th of July with a fireworks display that will be visible throughout the Las Vegas Valley. The fireworks display will start at at 9:15 p.m.

A viewing party will be held at Elation rooftop pool offering guests an up-close experience to the fireworks. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Exclusively on Wednesday, July 4, Stratosphere will also offer 4th of July perks for locals. Earlier in the day, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., locals with valid Nevada ID will receive free observation tower admission, (a $25 per person value), and buy-one-get-one free admission to Crafted Buffet.

Station Casinos –

The Station Casinos “We Love Locals’ July 4th Fireworks Blast” is set to go off on the east and west sides of town at Green Valley Ranch Resort in Henderson and Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa in Summerlin. The fireworks show last approximately nine-minutes.

Texas Station and Fiesta Rancho “Battle of the Alamo” –

This year Texas Station and Fiesta Rancho will bring back their “Battle of the Alamo” block party, as both neighboring casinos team up to give the community a stunning fireworks display. In addtion to the fireworks display, expect family-friendly festivals at both properties’ outdoor parking lots starting at 4 p.m. on July 4th.

Guests can enjoy a wide variety of activites at both properties including Live entertainment, dancing, art & craft vendors, Kids Fun Zone with bounce houses, a super slide, electronic animal rides, face painters and balloon artists. Also on hand will be food trucks and beverage stations.

The spectacular nine-minute “July 4th Fireworks Blast” will begin at approximately 9 p.m.

Mandalay Bay –

As part of the Mandalay Bay Summer Concert Series, Mandalay Bay will light up the sky this 4th of July with a dazzling display of fireworks and a musical performance from rising reggae-fusion group Mystic Roots Band. Guests will be treated to a spectacular view of fireworks above Mandalay Bay and the Las Vegas Strip while taking in a live show by Mystic Roots Band.

Boulder City Damboree – Our personal favorite!

If you want a small town feel that is enjoyed by the entire family, make a day of it in Boulder City. The morning starts off with the Rotary Pancake Breakfast at 7AM followed by the parade at 9AM. The rest of the day plays out at Broadbent Memorial Park with music, food and activities for the kids.

The day culminates at Veteran’s Memorial Park leading up to the Fireworks at 9PM

Note, if you want to avoid the traffic, we go to the Boulder Creek Golf Course. Bring your lawn chairs, a cooler and sit back in a family atmosphere. The bar in the clubhouse will be open and they will be BBQing hamburgers and hot dogs. Just as soon at the show ends, hop in your car and beat the traffic back to the valley.
