Centennial Hills Parks

The community is filled with lots of intimate neighborhood parks like Sunny Springs Park, Winding Trails Park, Forest Fire Park and Centennial Park. These are perfect for an outing to the playground, a walk with your dog, or to throw around a ball.

The crown jewel of Centennial Hills is Centennial Hills Park. Centennial Hills is also below the impressive 2,040-acre Floyd Lamb Park. It is centered around Tule Springs, a series of small natural lakes that form a true oasis in the Mojave Desert. Here you’ll find sparkling lakes, lush vegetation, various forms of wildlife, and beautiful views of the Sheep and Spring Mountain Ranges. Fishing is allowed if you have a license from the Nevada Department of Wildlife.The historic Tule Springs Ranch is tucked in the middle of the park and showcases life in a traditional early Las Vegas ranch.

Floyd Lamb Park offers numerous programs, from self-guided tours to facilities for birthday parties and special events. Park amenities include historic displays, a hay barn, picnic areas, walking and jogging paths, mountain bike trails. and a pump track for BMX bike riders.  The park is also home to the Nevada Division of Forestry State Tree Nursery.

Centennial Hills Golfing

Centennial Hills has its very own Painted Desert Golf Club. Clark County School District (CCSD) public school options include: Marshall C Darnell Elementary School, Betsy A Rhodes Elementary School, Ruthe Deskin Elementary School, Sandra Lee Thompson Elementary School, Edmundo Escobedo Sr. Middle School, Leavitt Middle School, Ralph Cadwallader Middle School, and Centennial High School.

There are also two K-12 public charter schools: Somerset Academy – SkyPointe Campus is focused on global learning, while the Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas has a STEM-focused curriculum. Leadership Academy of Nevada is another free charter school for grades 6-12 with an online learning option, while the Northwest Career & Technical Academy is a CCSD magnet high school that offers education in technology, science, engineering, hospitality, and culinary arts.
