In recent years Vegas has grown and now offers world-class restaurants. Savor the variety of fine dining on the strip or try some local favorites off the strip including Grape Street, Rosemary’s and Wild Sage, Kona Grill, The Melting Pot or Trumpets up in Anthem. On the strip you can experience delectable seafood at 808 inside of Caesars or Aqua at the Bellagio. Great steakhouses include Prime (Bellagio), Del Frisco,s, N9ne (Palms) and Delmonico’s Steakhouse (The Venetian) or at the opposite end grab a $4.99 steak downtown at The Horseshoe from 11pm to 7am (definitely not gourmet but cheap and you can take in the Fremont Street Experience at the same time). Sample some great Japanese at Nobu (Hard Rock Hotel) or Little Buddha (Palms) or rich French at Le Cirque (Bellagio) or Mon Ami Gabi (Paris) with pretty views. Bellagio and Trumpets both have a fabulous weekend brunch.
If you choose, you can catch one of many top ranked Las Vegas Shows: O at Bellagio (693-7722), Mystere at Treasure Island (894-7722), Ka at MGM (891-7777), or Zumanity at New York New York (740-6969), all produced by Cirque du Solie. There’s the rollicking comedy Terry Fator at the Mirage (791-7111), the unique compilation of Blue Man Group at The Venetian (1.888.283.6423), the talent filled Mama Mia atMandalay Bay (632-7777) or the limited engagement of Cher at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace (877-427-7243). Of course you could always catch a classic Las Vegas show with beautiful showgirls, Jubilee at Bally’s Las Vegas (967-4567). Watch out for the much-anticipated Cirque Production of Elvis’s life & music aptly dubbed as “Viva Elvis”, opening soon at City Center’s Aria.
Go Shopping… this is a subject we are all experts on!! Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace, with its new addition offers a GREAT selection of shops, and you can have dinner at Spago’s, Cheesecake Factory or Bertolini’s and shop under the sky in an incredible atmosphere, with great people watching, until 11pm. Another fun place is Miracle Mile Shops at the recently remodeled Planet Hollywood, over 130 stores and some fun restaurants, open till midnight so you don’t have to miss any of the convention. Another late night option is the Venetian where you can ride down the mile long canal while being serenaded on your personal gondola, amidst the exquisite shops. Visit the hip Fashion Show Mall on the strip that now has Nordstrom (yeah!!) Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Dillard’s, Macy’s, Robinson May and a host of tantalizing shops and restaurants. A few short miles from the Strip is the trendy Town Square Las Vegas, an outdoor mall featuring popular and luxury brands, a children’s play area and pet-friendly setting. A mega mixed-use development and the newest kid on the block, The Crystals at City Center offers some of the most exclusive brands you can hope for (Fendi, Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Christian Dior, Tiffany & Co., to name a few). You could get in trouble here!
Be Daring…for the ultimate adrenaline rush… shake up the your day and ride the Big Shot at the top of the Stratosphere where you shoot straight up almost 200 feet – never mind that your starting point is over 1000 feet off the ground. Not for the faint at heart!! While there, ride the High Roller, which dangles you over the edge of the top of the Stratosphere. Other roller coasters can be found at New York New Yorkas well as Buffalo Bill’s Desperado (a 30-minute drive out of town towards Los Angeles at Primm….also great outlet shopping). For an incredible rush try Speed at The Sahara where you will travel faster than you thought possible!! The more faint-at heart can try out the motion simulator Star Trek-The Experience at The Las Vegas Hilton where you will travel at warp speed.
Relax and enjoy some fabulous golf courses while taking advantage of our great weather. We also boast world-class spas. Canyon Ranch Spa in the Venetian is fabulous and the largest in North America. Another enjoyable pampering can be found at the Spa Mandalay at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

Enjoy the nightlife. The Circle Bar at the Hard Rock and the Shadow Bar at Caesars always has an interesting mix of people on the weekend. The Ghost Bar at the top of the Palms offers a great atmosphere with awesome views of the valley as well as the Voodoo Lounge atop the Rio Hotel and Casino. The Fontana Bar in Bellagio has an outdoor patio overlooking Bellagio’s Lake (if you make it to the Bellagio you need to wander thru the Conservatory and marvel at the incredible gardens – hard to believe unless you’ve experienced it!) The V Bar or Venus, both in the Venetian Hotel are two fun spots.
